Watches of Switzerland Group opens Tudor boutique in Battersea Power Station

Watches of Switzerland has completed its line up of showrooms in the new Battersea Power Station shopping mall with the opening of a Tudor boutique.

Watches of Switzerland has completed its line up of five showrooms in the new Battersea Power Station shopping mall with the opening of a Tudor boutique.

A multi-brand Watches of Switzerland showroom anchored by Rolex, in addition to Omega, Breitling and TAG Heuer boutiques, opened in October.

Battersea Power Station, which offers a vast range of shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment venues, parks, and historical spaces, now rivals the West End and Westfield in West London as destinations for watch lovers in the capital.

Tudor has used its usual industrial styling and colour palette of black, red, and white.

It is hoping to lure shoppers by offering a boutique edition Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze Boutique Edition and is turning a visit into an interactive experience with a photography box that lets people to take a wrist-shot of their new watch.

Craig Bolton, president of the Watches of Switzerland Group UK, and Europe says: “We are delighted to have opened this TUDOR boutique within the iconic former Battersea Power Station.

“Having opened the first TUDOR mono-brand boutique in 2020 and now our fourth it’s an exciting time for the brand and our business to grow the partnership but to also provide our clients with this array of iconic timepieces in this new retail destination.”

Rolex on Bond Street

Watches of Switzerland Group’s investment in upgrading and expanding its retail network across Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb, Watches of Switzerland and franchised branded boutiques has accelerated in 2022, but its biggest opening of this decade will be next year when a three-storey Rolex flagship will open on Bond Street on the site of the old Gucci store.

The Rolex megastore and museum will have 7,200 square feet of retail space over three floors, eight times larger than WoSG ‘s existing 900 sq ft Rolex boutique on the same street.
