Longines has cast its second Academy Award-winning actress as an ambassador with Jennifer Lawrence joining Kate Winslet on its roster.

She rose to global fame for playing teenage heroine Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games trilogy that began in 2012, but garnered her greatest critical acclaim, and an Oscar, for Silver Linings Playbook at the age of 22.
Her profile landed her on Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world in 2013, a platform she has since used as an activist for feminism and human rights.

Longines long-standing support for equestrian sports had an early impact on Ms Lawrence, a native of Kentucky.
