Summer’s Geneva Watch Days expands to 39 brands

Geneva Watch Days will take place from August 29 to September 2 this year, with a line up of 39 brands already confirmed to participate.

The event was launched in the first summer of the pandemic, in 2020, when Baselworld and SIHH shows in the first quarter of the year had been suspended.

Bulgari and Breitling decided a simpler and less expensive show could go ahead, a format that had less risk for exhibitors if it had to be postponed, so they convened with eight brands on the banks of Lake Geneva for what turned out to be a refreshingly egalitarian event.

Three years on, the show is still described as modern and unconventional; focusing on cooperation while avoiding complexity.

Most presentations take place within suites in hotels along Quai Du Montblanc, with the famous Beau Rivage at heart of the action.

Evening events take place at an indoor/outdoor marquee opening onto Lake Geneva.

There is also a marquee opposite the Beau Rivage, which holds seminars and evening social events.

Visitors need to make their own travel arrangements, but what better time to visit Geneva for a mix of business and pleasure than at the end of summer?

This year’s exhibiting brands include Angelus, Armin Strom, Arnold & Son, Artime, Bausele, Bianchet, Breitling, Bulgari, Byrne, Konstantin Chaykin, Claude Meylan, Corum, Czapek & Cie, De Bethune, Doxa, Frédérique Constant Group, Girard-Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, Hautlence, HYT, Jacob & Co, Krayon, Laurent Ferrier, Louis Erard, Massena Lab, Maurice Lacroix, MB&F, H.
