Swatch is opening on Paradise Street in the Liverpool ONE shopping centre.
It will be the 12th directly run Swatch shop in the UK.
Swatch has been adding directly-run stores on the back of its success with the MoonSwatch, which has so far only been available to buy from these monobrand points of sale.
Swatch has also recently unveiled a bioceramic watch made in collaboration with Swatch Group stablemate Blancpain in the image of its historic Fifty Fathoms.
Grovesnor, which manages real estate in Liverpool ONE, says Swatch opening a 600 square foot space is “another significant vote of confidence in the destination and reinforcing its reputation as a go-to hub for leading global retailers.”
Swatch Group president Nick Hayek said earlier this year that shopping mall owners are beating a path to Swatch’s door in the hope of opening boutiques that stock MoonSwatches and can host future launches.
“Landlords understand the potential of opening Swatch in shopping malls,” Mr Hayek said in March.
Swatch says its Liverpool ONE store will offer an immersive atmosphere, allowing consumers to interact with the products and will feature a Swatch X You space, for customers to create and personalise their timepieces.
