Bucherer ties up with Mytheresa luxury fashion e-commerce platform

Bucherer has forged a partnership with Mytheresa, a New York Stock Exchange-listed luxury e-commerce platform that will see the Swiss retail giant’s providing a selection of certified pre-owned watches for sale on its fashion-focused platform.

From today, Bucherer pre-owned watches will be available to Mytheresa customers in Europe, but the partnership will be extended to other regions in the future.

Mytheresa is launching the service with a curated selection of over 300 timepieces from around 25 luxury brands including Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Omega.

Every watch has been checked, refurbished and authenticated by Bucherer and is sold with a two-year international Bucherer guarantee.

They are professionally photographed and often promoted in conjunction with high fashion using models.

It is fair to point out that this premium service comes with premium prices in comparison to higher volume secondary market platforms.

Bucherer also has a similar partnership with auction house Sotheby’s, which has a curated selection of certified pre-owned watches from the retail group on its ecommerce site.
