All modern watches have different personalities during daylight and night-time hours, but TAG Heuer has taken that to the extreme with a new Night Driver version of its iconic Monaco chronograph.
The latest model could not have two more distinct faces.
By day, it is a monochrome watch with a dark grey circular inner dial with pale grey filling in the rest of the famously share face and its two sub dials.
At night, the pale grey lights up in a vivid blue Superluminova; illuminating like the dials on a car’s dashboard after dark.
TAG Heuer says the luminosity will last around three hours if it fully energised in the light.
The lightweight titanium watch houses a modern Heuer 02 automatic chronograph movement, which has an 80 hour power reserve. The movement is on view via an exhibition case back.
Pre-orders are being taken for the watch, which officially goes on sale in October.
Only 600 are being made, priced at £8,300.
