Italian watch brand Panerai is expanding its portfolio with the launch of the Panerai Goldtech Luminor Due 42mm collection, comprising two new references.
The case, bezel, safety lock crown protective device, back buckle are formed of a special 18-carat gold alloy with an original composition which is notable for its high percentage of copper as well as the presence of platinum.
The copper is designed to give the colour intensity and depth, while the platinum is there to lower the tarnishing effects of oxidation.
The dial comes in either black with a satiné soleil finish and sandwich structure, or white with luminous printed Arabic numerals.
The Luminor Due has a mechanical movement with automatic winding, while the new P.900 Calibre fits perfectly into the small size of the Luminor Due case.
With a thickness of just 4.2mm, it ranks as one of Panerai’s thinnest automatic movements.
Both watches are water-resistant to a depth of about 30 metres and are supplied with an interchangeable alligator leather strap fitted with a quick release system.
