Panerai has introduced a 44mm case size as a midpoint between its 47mm and 42mm models in the Submersible family.
Named the Submersible QuarantaQuattro, the new collection uses Panerai’s P.900 caliber with a date at 3 o’clock and seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The movement has a three-day power reserve.
There are three references in the Submersible QuarantaQuattro range, all waterproof to 300 metres.
First is the deep blue Carbotech Blu Abisso (PAM01232), the lightest model in the family thanks to the use of carbotech carbon fibre composite, which has applications in the worlds of aeronautics, motorsports and biomedicine.
The dial has contrasting white hands and markers. It is worn on a rubber strap matching the colour of the dial.
The PAM1226 comes in a brushed steel case that looks almost white, in harmony with its white dial, hands and markers.
This version is worn on a military green rubber strap.
The same brushed steel case is used for the PAM01229 reference, this time with matching black dial and rubber strap.
Panerai also introduced a range of additional options to the QuarantaQuattro collection in steel and worn on new straps made from recycled plastic bottles.
Typo in the title: PanErai, not A.
Talking specifically about the watches: Nice bezels, but the “e” on the dial is an eyesore to me
