Laings dresses Influencers of the Year in tickers and tiaras

Laings ensured its will be getting plenty of plugs on Instagram this week by working with the inaugural Scottish Influencer Awards as the event’s only jewellery and watch sponsor.

Laings ensured its will be getting plenty of plugs on Instagram this week by working with the inaugural Scottish Influencer Awards as the event’s only jewellery and watch sponsor.

The event took place last Sunday in Glasgow, with Laings lining up with the country’s finest digital content creators and dressing a number of stars for their red carpet appearances.

Sally Pearson, marketing director, of Laings says the partnership allowed the jeweller to pay homage to its Scottish roots in a stylish new way.

“Just as we have honed our own expertise, craftsmanship and passion for exceptional service throughout generations, each of the nominees epitomised quality and dedication to their art. It was wonderful to toast the very best in content creation that Scotland has to offer and a privilege to dress the winners in the Lifestyle, Health & Wellbeing and Style categories,” she describes.

Laings lent jewellery and prestige watches to some of the country’s top social stars, including the evening’s big winners – The Everyday Man (Lifestyle) – who wore a Pre-Owned Cartier Santos, Caroline Style Hacks (Style) – who wore pieces including a round brilliant cut necklet and drop earrings with a triple row diamond eternity ring, and Rona McMillan (Health & Wellbeing), who wore pieces including a round brilliant eternity ring and baguette cut bangle.

A Laings Lunch ahead of the big night brought together guests including A Place in the Sun presenter Danni Menzies, who was dressed in Laings diamonds and gemstones for the event.

The Influencer Awards were the second significant partnership announced by Laings this month.

The dalmore

Earlier, the prestigious jeweller revealed it will be serving 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select Scotch whisky from The Dalmore at all of its showrooms across the UK.

With a shared passion for quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail, the collaboration celebrates the heritage and expertise of both brands, which date back to the 1800s.

Clients will have the opportunity to sample the outstanding 12 Year scotch while browsing the jeweller’s watches and jewellery.

Stuart McDowell, managing director of Laings, says there is great synergy between the brands, from our rich histories to the core values which remain at the heart of our businesses today.

“We are constantly working to deliver an unrivalled offering, in terms of our collections and the client experience. The distillery and its team are known for their dedication to craftsmanship and exclusive access to rare and old casks and so we’re proud to be able to extend an offering of this quality to our clients,” he adds.
