Garmin has got two exciting job vacancies, which are sure to be of interest to ambitious individuals both inside and outside the watch industry.

The first role is as Garmin’s Key Account Manager:

£35k,000 pa

To grow Garmin sales & distribution within our Key Watch accounts, through building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships both internally and externally. Ensuring all stakeholders and departments are engaged to maximise sales in new and existing markets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

· To achieve agreed business aims and objectives including sales, costs, and profitability for designated key accounts, through efficient planning and prioritising personal sales activities such as customer visits, calls, events, and effectively managing customer and prospect contacts.

· To successfully carry out the agreed watch channel development strategy, working closely with the Sales Manager, by effectively planning and managing your key accounts/territory/stakeholders.

· To optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction by maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sustainable and ethical sales methods

· To always have available up to date, relevant and accurate information on customers and prospects contacts and activities by creating and maintaining a database.

· Ensure all necessary members of your designated key accounts’ are fully trained on relevant Garmin products by visiting stores and premises, and through regular conversations with key staff. Work closely with the regional sales team to help support with call cycles, and training requirements.

· Ensure Garmin products are correctly displayed at point of sale, in line with Virtual merchandising guidelines. Work with your Key accounts to ensure brand guidelines are being upheld and communicated to stores.

· Provide insight into market segments/trends/customers and feedback to the wider team through competent and thorough analysis using all available information. (Sales out information, market share data, market publications, trade events).

· To aid business development and support excellent customer relations by attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions, building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships internally

· Keep relevant Garmin knowledge and skills up to date by attending internal and external training sessions, online events and other knowledge sharing activities

· Support ongoing sales by establishing and maintaining good working relationships with our key accounts and partners.

Experience Required:

Good level of Sales/Marketing experience

Experience as an existing Executive or Key Account Manager

Experience within the Watch & Jewellery sector would be advantageous

Full Drivers Licence

The other role is as National Account Manager (Watch Category):

Southampton Office, Hybrid/Remote Options will be considered.

£45,000 pa plus excellent benefits.

To grow Garmin sales in our high-profile, high priority customers through building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships internally and externally; completing and building on business reviews; successful promotional plans, product launches, trade events and forecasting; and generally providing outstanding account management to improve sales and profitability.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • To achieve agreed business aims and objectives including sales, costs and profitability for designated key accounts
  • To successfully carry out the agreed market development strategy
  • To optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • To always have available up to date, relevant and accurate information on customers and prospects contacts and activities
  • Ensure all necessary members of your designated key accounts’ associates are fully trained on relevant Garmin products
  • Ensure all POS material is available and displayed in the stores
  • To aid business development and support excellent customer relations
  • Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships internally
  • Keep relevant Garmin knowledge and skills up to date
  • Support ongoing sales

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Significant Sales/Marketing experience
  • Ideally experience as a National Account Manager, or a Sale Executive/Key Account Manager looking for a step up to manage high profile national accounts
  • Experience within the watch & Jewellery sector would be advantageous.
  • Good general educational level (A level or equivalent as evidenced by written, oral and numeracy/analysis skills)
  • Full Driving License
