Digital magazine Fratello has unveiled its latest special edition, this time a Flieger F-43 Bicompax designed for Fortis.
The watch is available immediately from the Fratello shop for €2,980 plus VAT.
The Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax Fratello Capsule Edition chronograph comes in a 43mm recycled steel case with a brushed finish.
Its umber brown dial has a vertical brushed texture.
It is framed by a steel 12 hour bidirectional bezel that helps to keep track of a second time zone.
A Fortis UW-51 Performance chronograph movement, based on a Sellita SW510 is protected behind a closed steel case back engraved with the Fratello f.
The capsule collection is not limited, but only 25 have been completed for immediate delivery.
Fratello says an additional 25 will be available within 1 to 2 weeks. Future production will be in batches of 50 watches that will take around 6 months to build and ship.
Fratello’s founder Robert-Jan Broer will be appearing at next month’s WatchPro Salon.
He will be giving a presentation on the past, present and future of online watch magazines and how they keep their independence at a time of increasingly demanding [and unappreciative] watch brands.
