It is surely about time Citizen Watch Company followed its American and Japanese operations in opening a UK showroom to present the prestigious watches from its brands: Citizen, Accutron, Bulova, Alpina and Frederique Constant.
Citizen could benefit most from showing its ever-expanding portfolio of high end watches, to which we can today add a new limited-edition Power of Neptune timepiece, which is named after our solar system’s outermost frozen planet and the Roman god of the sea.
The bi-colour chronograph is made from titanium with elements of Duralect Gold and Platinum.
It comes with an icy blue dial and has hands, hour baton hour markers and other accents in yellow gold.
Citizen has installed its light-powered F950 movement with 1/20th of a second chronometer function, which is kept perfectly accurate by receiving GPS signals anywhere in the world.
The 43mm watch is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces and goes on sale in November for £2,295.
