BRITISH WATCHMAKERS’ DAY: Elliot Brown introduces the Beachmaster Automatic ‘The Fade’

The new Beachmaster Automatic 'The Fade' is a poignant tribute to the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

In celebration of the inaugural British Watchmakers Day, Elliot Brown introduces a highly exclusive edition of their Beachmaster Automatic. A distinctive iteration, limited to just 20 pieces, it features the patented multi-time zone mission timer watch that originated from collaborations with the Royal Marines, paying homage to the D-Day landings.

The Beachmaster Automatic ‘The Fade’ retains all of the attributes of its predecessors but stands out thanks to the red-green fade adorning the inner timing bezel. Beyond being visually striking, this release holds special significance in the 80th anniversary year of D Day, serving as a poignant tribute to the Normandy landings, particularly on Omaha Beach, where assault sectors were designated, including Easy Red and Fox Green.

The high-performance Automatic Beachmaster has undergone rigorous testing at depths of 300m and features a 24-hour click-lock internal mission timing bezel, a ceramic external diver’s bezel, dual time zones, and an impressive 56-hour power reserve. The patented split internal bezel, synchronised with the GMT hand, allows precise countdowns of up to 12 hours to mission start (H hour) and automatically shifts to display elapsed mission time post-event initiation.
