Founded in London by brothers Ed and Will Allen, Iota is an independent watch brand that combines British design with Swiss engineering to produce stylish, affordable watches.
Iota is a culmination of their ambition to produce physical products, after working for nearly two decades in the digital sector.
The name Iota comes from the ninth letter of the Greek alphabet, meaning ‘an extremely small amount’, which is the Iota design philosophy – to design watches with clarity and simplicity.
In creating their debut range, Iota drew inspiration from travel, design and architecture to create watches for the modern day traveller.
A focus on using durable materials and quality engineering was key. The brand formed Swiss partnerships to produce their watches in small batches.
“We can’t wait to showcase our watches in person at the WATCHPRO Market this December. As we launched our debut collection online, this will be the first time to experience our full GMT range up close, and we couldn’t think of a better place to do so than Piccadilly Circus, one of the most iconic and busiest destinations in London,” Mr Allen, Iota Co-founder, says.

Named after four of the world’s greatest cities, the GMT collection embodies simplicity with smooth lines and clean edges. The collection contains four dual time watches; the New York, the London, the Sydney, and special edition, Hong Kong.
The Swiss Made watches feature anti-glare coated sapphire crystal, a Ronda 515.24H movement, diamond cut hands, 316L stainless steel casing and Italian and French leather straps.
The New York, London and Sydney GMT models will be on sale at WATCHPRO Market for £265.
