A collaboration between Bulova and Marc Anthony has produced its first watches.
Arguably the greatest Latin musician and artist of all time, Mr Anthony has been part of a design team creating a series of special edition, limited edition and core collection watch and jewellery lines for Bulova that will roll out over a four year period.
The first watches and accompanying Bold at Heart marketing campaign were unveiled at a celebrity-studded launch in Las Vegas.
Marc Anthony invited his closest friends and some of music’s greatest artists to the event at the Wynn Las Vegas.
“We found exciting ways to integrate some creative ideas I had been working on, including specific colors and numbers of significance, while also providing a sense of mystery by limiting production to 531 pieces,” says Mr Anthony.
“We decided to launch the collections with the Precisionist, a movement that provides unprecedented accuracy driven by technological innovation while standing out because of its sweeping second hands and chronographs that can time to 1/1000 of a second,” he describes, sounding every inch an expert in watches as well as Latin rhythms.
Always attuned to the need to keep his legion of female fans excited, Mr Anthony and Bulova have also created a cocktail watch collection.
“For the ladies, I have always loved bangle bracelets and wanted to create a feeling of sophistication and elegance. I’m thrilled to introduce these initial watches and look forward to working on the creation of new models, and bring my personal touch to other existing Bulova classics,” Mr Anthony reveals.
