One of the more niche families in the Breitling catalogue, the Endurance Pro Ironman is, of course, targeted at extreme athletes, particularly triathletes.
Today the collection has two more toughened timekeepers, launched and co-branded for the 2023 Ironman World Championship and Ironman 70.3 World Championship.
Each model is limited to 250 pieces.
Breitling is the official luxury watch partner for the Ironman triathlon series and this year’s watches come in a turquoise colourway for the 70.3 World Championship, which takes place in Finland in August, and in blue for the World Championships, taking place in France this September.
The Endurance Pro is made of Breitlight, a polymer alloy that has an appearance similar to forged carbon that is three times lighter than titanium and six times lighter than steel.
It is described as warmer to the touch than metal, while being scratch-resistant, non-magnetic, and hypo-allergenic.
The 44mm watches are water resistant to 100 metres, and powered by Breitling’s Caliber 82, a COSC-certified quartz movement displaying central hours and minutes, small seconds and date along with 1/10th second and 30-minute chronograph counters
They are worn on rubber straps carrying the Ironman logo.
The turquoise version costs £2,950 while the blue model £3,300.
