Roger Dubuis came over all romantic this week, creating a video based on the "heartbeats" of its watches – and the amorous effect they have on their admirers.
The video features the sound of various Roger Dubuis heartbearts – the ticking created by its movements – from its Velvet women’s line and Excalibur 36 Automatic through to its Excalibur 42 Skeleton Flying Tourbillon and its recently released Quatuor watch.
In a clever spin on typical luxury watch campaigns, the brand has chosen not to show a single timepiece in the 1m36s clip, thus increasing the viewer’s attention to the sound of each watch.
The brand said: "Our mechanical movements are to our timepieces, what the heart is to us. Like our own heartbeats, the ticking of our movements bring to life our exclusive watches."
