Watches of Switzerland Group opens its first store in Continental Europe today — a Breitling boutique in Stockholm.
The roll out, initially concentrated in Scandinavia and the Republic of Ireland, will continue with additional Breitling stores in Stockholm Mall of Scandinavia and Copenhagen, plus an Omega showroom in Copenhagen in September.
“We have a programme of projects primarily focusing on the Nordics and Ireland initially, which will see us open further mono brand Boutiques by the end of 2022,” says Craig Bolton, president, Watches of Switzerland Group, UK and Europe.
“We are very excited as we embark on this journey to increase our presence in Europe, and we are actively exploring other territories and opportunities in the marketplace.”
WoSG has also announced the appointment of Gun Falk as retail director for Europe.
She previously spent 12 years at Ralph Lauren as senior director retail & concession for Paris, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Scandinavia.
