TAG Heuer has cut the ribbon its first stand-alone boutique on the island of Ireland with a showroom opening in partnership with Lunn’s Jewellers in Belfast’s Queen’s Arcade.

It is part of a £2.5m investment project by the owners of Queen’s Arcade, Lunn’s Jewellers, to create an iconic retail destination in Belfast city centre.  The arcade also has its own Rolex boutique, owned and operated by Lunn’s.

“Lunn’s is delighted to open TAG Heuer’s first stand-alone boutique in Ireland. We are especially proud to locate it in Queen’s Arcade where my grandfather, John Lunn, established our business nearly seventy years ago,” said Suzanne Lunn, Lunn’s the Jewellers’ marketing director.

“We are confident in the future of retail in Belfast city centre and are excited that we can now offer a totally immersive TAG Heuer experience.  The addition of the TAG Heuer boutique will complement our ambitions to enhance Queen’s Arcade as an iconic shopping destination in Ireland,” she adds.

TAG Heuer has been opening monobrand boutiques with a number of its partners in the UK, including stores with Laings, Beaverbrooks, Watches of Switzerland Group and Signet.

The company’s UK managing director, Rob Diver, says these franchised stores increase sales.

“We are very proud to be partnering with Lunn’s to open a new TAG Heuer Boutique in Ireland in Belfast’s Queen’s Arcade. We believe that the opening of this new Boutique will take TAG Heuer to new heights in Northern Ireland and allow clients to experience our exceptional timepieces and strong brand DNA in a 360-degree environment. It is great to see the redevelopment of this iconic part of Belfast and to be one of the key brands integral in this new venture,” Mr Diver says.
