Sweden’s GoS mirrors ice on a wintery window in latest Sarek watch dials

Sarek watches have been taking inspiration from the Swedish landscape since first being introduced in 2016,

Sweden’s GOS Watches has been sharing its Scandinavian craftmanship and heritage through bespoke and one-of-one watches since 2007.

The company’s co-founder and master watchmaker, Patrik Sjögren, has worked with various local artisans, often using Damascus steel, in timepieces whose manufacturing process makes every one distinct from all others.

His latest creation, the GoS Sarek Frost, is inspired by the icy patterns that spread across wintery window panes.

It comes in two dial colours: Midnight Blue or Ice Blue.

Both have sunray finished dials framed by machined and polished sapphire indexes.

They are powered by automatic movements made to order for GoS by Manufacture La Joux housed in 41.5mm steel cases.

The G101 movements are manufactured to GoS specification, which includes the anthrasite finish and a skeletonised rotor carrying the GoS triskele emblem in gold finish.

GoS released its first Sarek in 2016 in honour of Sweden’s Sarek National Park, and has frequently produced new models inspired by his country’s nature.

The Frost models came to life thanks to Mr Sjögren’s desire to create dials that have the randomness of ice patterns.

Both the Midnight Blue or Ice Blue models are limited to 50 pieces each.

Pre-orders are being taken now for delivery from March next year priced at $9,500 + applicable taxes.
