Seiko’s new additions to its Prospex collection are inspired by the surrounding craggy moss-covered terrains of Silfra in Iceland, situated between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Silfra remains the only place in the world where divers can explore the fissure between two continents.
Both timepieces feature sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating, whilst the hands and indexes feature Lumibrite, for improved night visibility or in dark diving situations.
The ‘Silfra’ Prospex Sumo Diver is built in the classic ‘Sumo’ design comes with a blue silicone accordion strap which expands and contracts under water.
