Rolex glass attack

Rolex on Bond Street scarred by attack

The glass frontage of Rolex’s Bond Street store has been cracked from floor to ceiling after an attack earlier this week.

The glass frontage of Rolex’s Bond Street store has been cracked from floor to ceiling after an attack earlier this week.

The centre of the crack has a small hole, which looks like it might have been caused by a bullet, but an eye witness said it was just somebody “having a pop”.

Rolex’s boutique is run by Watches of Switzerland, and the unit will be reassigned next year when the group opens a vast three storey homage to the Swiss watchmaker next year.

That showroom is taking over the building currently occupied by Gucci at No.34 Old Bond Street.

The Rolex megastore (or exhibition, if you prefer) was originally slated to open this year, but Gucci’s move further North up Bond Street was delayed.

Scaffolding on the front of the new Gucci showroom has now come down, bringing it one step closer to opening and thus vacating the property into which Rolex will move.

  1. The one time I went there, I was turned away and looked at like I was scum.

I only buy Rolex superclones now.

    Awful people

  2. Is promotional material that valuable? I’m assuming that (like all WOS outlets) no working models are on display in the windows??

  3. Lol so you proved that you’re scum by buying a fake watch… You’re definitely not Rolex target market.
