Inspired by the iconic racing watches of the 60s and 70s, Vaer has released an all-purpose mecaquartz chronograph.
Those designing the watch have aimed to blend both aesthetics and functionality of a modern chronograph, while ensuring durability, water resistance and practicality.
Boasting the strongest water-resistance specs in its segment, Vaer says the 10ATM R1 will keep time and good taste from the track to the ocean.
In addition to its impressive outdoor specs, the R1 is distinguished by full US assembly and its hybrid mecaquartz movement which uses quartz technology for the main functions of the watch and a mechanical module for operating the chronograph.
The R1 Racing Chronograph comes in three colors and two distinct sizes; a 1960s authentic 38mm case, and a larger modern 42mm case for those who prefer more presence on their wrist.
It will retail for $399, with 2x interchangeable straps.
