MeisterSinger dances to Nicholas Brownlee’s tune

The German brand has partnered with Nicholas Brownlee, a USA citizen and winner of multiple singing awards.

German watch brand MeisterSinger originally borrowed its name from Richard Wagner’s opera ‘The Meistersinger of Nuremberg.’

A new production of that opera was recently staged at the Frankfurt Opera, with the title role being played by Nicholas Brownlee, a USA citizen and winner of multiple singing awards.

Manfred Brassler, founder of MeisterSinger explains: “When Nicholas Brownlee approached me, I was quite excited about the idea of a partnership. Nicholas is a gifted, highly charismatic opera singer and plays the leading role in the opera that gave MeisterSinger its name. He is a true fan of the brand who understands and lives the underlying philosophy of a relaxed perception of time. It doesn’t get more fitting than that!”

Brownlee insists that the partnership is one based on mutual admiraton: “It is unbelievably beautiful, it’s unbelievably stylish but also it does the job in the most beautiful, most consistent way,” Brownlee says. “MeisterSinger is a head turner, and I think of myself as something of a headturner,” he says.
