Maurice Lacroix’s latest AIKON adopts colours of its Mahindra Racing Formula E partner

The pair of watches adopt the colours of the team, which competes in all-electric single seater races at speeds touching 320 km/h.

Maurice Lacroix is continuing to work with the Mahindra Racing Formula E team in 2023 and its first watch this year is a bold red and black version of its AIKON #tide made from recycled ocean-bound plastic.

The pair of watches adopt the colours of the team, which competes in all-electric single seater races at speeds touching 320 km/h.

The partnership, like the Formula E series, aims to promote EV technology and the move to a cleaner and greener planet.

The watches come in 40mm cases with textured black dials framed by red bezels.

There is a choice of a red or black rubber strap, which can be easily swapped thanks to Maurice Lacroix’s Easy Strap Exchange System.

“The AIKON #tide Mahindra is a further demonstration of our shared commitment to the environment. Like Mahindra Racing, we tour the globe, operating in urban settings. Both brands strive for success, whether that’s competing on race tracks in various cities or making urban watches for competitive souls, but most important of all, we both believe in innovating for a brighter, greener future,” says Stéphane Waser, managing director of Maurice Lacroix.
