The watch inspired by Locman’s connection to the sea has been given new technical features for the first time.

The watch inspired by Locman’s connection to the sea has been given new technical features for the first time.

With an evocative name – mare is Italian for sea – that reflects its roots, the watch aims to represent the brand’s sporty, aquatic spirit.

The three-hand timepiece from the Tuscan watchmaker, whose headquarters overlook the port of Marina di Campo, is an important milestone for Locman’s divers’ watches.

The new offering is a self-winding timepiece, water-resistant to 300 metres, and features a titanium case back secured by four screws.

The movement is visible and also features a crystal with sapphire treatment for increased robustness and transparency.

It’s a combination made possible by superior engineering that guarantees the watch’s elevated performance.

With a 44 mm AISI 316L steel shaped case and screw-down crown, reminiscent of classic diving models thanks to its unidirectional rotating bezel, the watch boasts a strong personality and typical Locman design.

The Italian flag, positioned at 6 o’clock, provides continuity and reaffirms the brand’s strong identity.

The Mare collection is available in four versions whose colours recall those of the oceans. Three steel watches feature ombré dials that echo the shades of water, with full colour giving way – at 6 o’clock – to lighter shades.

Black becomes anthracite grey, deep blue fades into a more transparent shade and bright green softens into a light green.

The steel model with a Rose Gold PVD coating, however, presents a solid black dial.

The self-winding Mare 300 Metri has a stainlesssteel bracelet. It’s an extremely technical bracelet, perfectly integrated with the case, which enhances the watch’s sporty feel as well as its diving concept.

The timepiece is also available with a vegetable-tinted silicone strap.
