Laings has formed a partnership with The Dalmore to serve its 12-year-old Sherry Cask Select Scotch across its showrooms in the UK.

The collaboration celebrates the heritage and expertise of both brands, which date back to the 1800s, and will give clients the opportunity to sample the outstanding whisky while browsing the jeweller’s collections, meeting with the bespoke team or having their beloved pieces serviced.

Laings says it further elevates the showroom experience.

Stuart McDowell, MD at Laings, said: “There is great synergy between the brands, from our rich histories to the core values which remain at the heart of our businesses today.

“The Dalmore shares our vision of creating a timeless, quality product, loyal to heritage while also embracing new techniques, making them the perfect partner as we further build our offering as a leading destination for luxury jewellery and watches.”

Adding: “At Laings, we are constantly working to deliver an unrivalled offering, in terms of our collections and the client experience. The distillery and its team are known for their dedication to craftsmanship and exclusive access to rare and old casks and so we’re proud to be able to extend an offering of this quality to our clients.”

The Dalmore’s deep-rooted heritage dates back to 1263, with the use of the 12-pointed Royal stag emblem paying homage to Clan Mackenzie coat of arms; the Clan who would later become owners of The Dalmore distillery, founded in 1839. Laings was established just a year later in 1840 with entrepreneur James Laing manufacturing and repairing watches and clocks, before later expanding into trading – with the business now in the hands of the sixth generation of the Laing family.

Both pioneering in their respective crafts, the brands are still pushing the boundaries in their industries today.

Last year, Laings announced a multi-layer expansion plan to transform its showrooms and workshops across the UK, reimagining the customer experience while ensuring traditional jewellers’ crafts are kept alive for generations to come.

While the debut of The Dalmore’s hand-selected Decades Collection signalled the distillery’s relentless pursuit of excellence, joining its sought-after range of single malts, including the Dalmore King Alexander III, the only single malt in the world created using a unique six-cask finish.

Lucy McQueen, UK Brand Manager for The Dalmore, said: “We look forward to working in partnership with Laings, bringing the finest jewellery together with the world’s fastest growing luxury Scotch. We are thrilled to be joining forces in the UK and look forward to supporting exceptional experiences to Laings’ clients.”
