Jaeger-LeCoultre has added two fresh references to its sporty Polaris Chronograph collection, both with interchangeable straps.
Since re-introducing the line in 2018, JLC has positioned its chronographs at the luxury and most sophisticated end of a competitive market.
Dials are made up of a graduated lacquer central disc and middle ring with applied hour markers, which is circled by an internal bezel with tachymeter scale.
Subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock are elevated with circular graining that contrasts with the shine of the lacquer.
JLC’s finely finished automatic Calibre 761 chronograph movement, which has a 65 hour power reserve thanks to twin barrels, is exposed by an exhibition case back.
Two new 42mm steel references come in dark blue and grey tones, both on steel bracelets that can be swapped out for a textured blue or black rubber strap with a Clous de Paris pattern or a beige canvas strap.
It is on sale from today for £13,500.
Hi team. What a fantastic timepiece and even stating that fact is really an understatement, maybe because I am biased for I simply could and can never find a, let alone one reason to offer some kind of negative comment. I am a big fan of dual sub-dial situated on the larger dial, it looks less busy or fussy as per the chronograph fashion for 4 dials.
