Steve Ramsay, European managing director of Bulova, has announced his retirement.
Mr Ramsay joined Bulova UK Ltd in 2011 as managing director and in 2015 was promoted to the expanded role of European managing director, spearheading the development of the Bulova watch business in Northern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Before joining Bulova, Mr Ramsay held commercial positions in the FMCG sector with Nestle and Haagen Dazs before crossing over to luxury goods where he served as managing director for Gucci, Alfred Dunhill, Corum and Eternal Silver.
“Steve not only has years of outstanding service to the industry, but has provided strategic leadership through the early days of the Bulova brand in the various markets and has continued to provide valuable counsel to the board and our staff.” said Jeffrey Cohen, president of Citizen Watch America.
Citizen Watch Company has owned Bulova since 2008.
The retirement means that Duncan Harris, general manager of Bulova UK Ltd, will report directly to Mr. Cohen at Citizen Watch America.
