Images from Cory Richards, a world-renowned American photographer and adventurer, will adorn the walls of Vacheron Constantin boutiques around the world to promote its Overseas collection.
Mr Richards captured inspirational images on a recent attempt to scale Mount Everest wearing an Overseas dual time, and has since worked with the brand to create a prototype of the watch featuring an oscillating weight engraved with a design based on a photo from the climb.
He has been selected among a small group of inspirational personalities that Vacheron Constantin uses to front its “One of not many” communication campaign.
The prototype Overseas dual time comes in a 41mm titanium case housing a specially developed self-winding movement with its 22ct gold oscillating weight.
It displays hours, minutes, seconds, second timezone, a date subdial and day/night indicator on a dark grey dial.
