Glashütte Original expands its PanoMaticLunar and PanoMatic Luna collections

There are models for gents (PanoMaticLunar) and ladies (PanoMatic Luna) in rose gold or steel

With the Lange 1 entering the realms of a unicorn waiting list watch, customers’ attention is likely to turn to Glashütte Original’s latest additions to its Pano range, which use a similar offset dial and subdial dial configuration as the watch from A. Lange & Sohne, one of its neighbours in the German watchmaking village of Glashütte.

There are models for gents (PanoMaticLunar) and ladies (PanoMatic Luna) in rose gold or steel and with dial colors including ivy green, blue, black and two shades of mother of pearl.

PanoMaticLunar models have the the hour/minute and small second on the left dial side, with a large date and moon phase display on the right side.

The steel version on a steel bracelet retails for £8,800 while it is £8,400 on an alligator strap.

In 18ct rose gold, the price increases to £18,300.

The men’s PanoMaticLunar is not to be confused with the ladies PanoMatic Luna, although Glashütte Original might have made the naming convention a little easier to follow.

Ladies pieces use automatic movements in smaller stainless steel cases with mother of pearl dials adorned with and framed by diamonds.
