Citizen expands dive watch offering with new Promaster design

The Promaster Dive watch will keep its original shape and features but will be enhanced with new stylistic details.

Citizen has expanded its dive watch offering with the debut of a new Promaster design.

First introduced in 2006, the Promaster Dive watch will keep its original shape and features but will be enhanced with new stylistic details.

Inspired by the Orca, the apex predator of the sea, the case design features a round and plump aesthetic to mimic the whale’s body shape with white markers on the dial inspired by the orca’s signature colour markings and lower jaw.

It will be available in three colourways, comprising silver and black/black, silver and blue/blue and black and black/black dial and bezel.

The watches are ISO compliant diver’s watches up to 200 meters and are powered by Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology.

Launched on June 8, the release celebrates World Oceans Day for the brand, as well as being in line with the Orca-inspired aesthetics.

Retailing from £329 – £399, the new release is available online at www.citizenwatch.co.uk and at select retailers nationwide.

For the month of June, a portion of the watch’s online proceeds in the US will go towards supporting marine conservation activities of Conservation International (CI), an international NGO that is working to achieve a sustainable society through environmental conservation. This is in the USA only.
