Chrono Hunter in hiring mode as it hits the turbo boost on business

Growth of the pre-owned watch trading specialist is driving it to expand its head office team.

Online luxury watch broker Chrono Hunter hit a milestone of over £10,000,000 in transactions conducted via its online platform earlier this year.

Having focused on perfecting its technology and customer service since launching in 2018, the company is now releasing the handbrake to unleash rapid growth.

“This year we’re focused on growth. We’re confident that we’ve established our position in the market and now is the time to hit the turbo button. We’ve started the year exactly how we would have hoped and are on track to hit the targets we have set out for ourselves,” says Chrono Hunter co-founder Sam Rayner.

“We’ve taken on two additional offices and have started to expand the customer relationship team. This team will expand significantly this year. We’re on the lookout for the right candidates to join our motivated team,” he adds.

Chrono Hunter’s business model is based on helping watch lovers source the best pieces at the most competitive prices.

It works with a vast network of traders and retailers who bid for business when a customer puts in a request.

It also works the other way round, with individuals or traders able to list their watches for sale.

The current boom in luxury watch demand shows no sign of abating, but people are wary of getting ripped off by rogue traders.

Chrono Hunter helps both buyers and sellers by drawing them into a trusted network.

“Feedback from our clients suggests that more and more people are looking for alternative safer options to sell their high value timepieces. It’s not worth the risk trying to sell privately anymore, in a lot of cases the values of the watches are going up consistently and people just want to make sure they’re getting a fair price when selling and just as important as this they want to conduct the transaction in a safe and secure manner with a reputable retailer,” Mr Rayner suggests.

“Chrono Hunter allows customers to get multiple offers from reputable retailers so both bases are covered. We’re in a great position to be both helping the customer and the retailers we work with so the opportunity for growth is huge. We’re looking forward to what 2022 holds for Chrono Hunter,” he concludes.
