Chronext shifts software platform to mobile app-optimised Storyblok

Storyblok’s platform will serve both mobile and web clients, although its app is currently only available for Apple iOS phones.

Secondary market specialist Chronext has improved the client experience for smartphone users with the development of an app using Storyblok technology.

It marks a move away from a purely web-based platform to one optimised for mobiles.

The system has been live since earlier this summer, and Chronext says it has almost tripled the length of time people spend per session browsing on their phones from two minutes on the previous website to five minutes on the app.

It has also streamlined backend processes, making it far easier to highlight special features and offers.

“Storyblok opened possibilities for our marketing team to easily update product pages, create new campaigns and promotions for different markets, and engage with our customers,” says Emanuel Schleussinger, CTO at Chronext.

“Content teams can simply drag, drop, and update specific component pieces that make up a product detail page in our application within seconds, without having to redeploy the application to the App Store. Changes are reflected on user’s screens instantly without disrupting their purchase session,” adds Cameron Crosby, team lead of website & digital innovation at Chronext.
