Christopher Ward’s C1 Bel Canto watch was revealed to the world at an event in London on Wednesday and the company’s website showed the chiming watch was sold out less than 24 hours later.
It is the first time this high end complication has made its way into a Christopher Ward watch, a British and Swiss business that only sells directly to consumers.
The 41mm titanium watch was launched with a limited production run of 300 pieces, although it would be surprising if new versions of the same watch fail to materialise next year.
It comes in a 41mm titanium case that is 13mm high and can be worn on a titanium bracelet or blue leather strap.
