C W Sellors’ investment in its retail real estate and upmarket positioning has paid off with Tudor appointing the north of England jeweller as an authorised dealer.
As with all Tudor stockists, the business will be hoping that success with the brand will be noticed by Rolex.
C W Sellors has been expanding stores, refurbishing them and devoting more space to fewer high end brands over recent years.
Its grandest plan is the opening of a vast watches and jewellery experience centre overlooking Carsington Water in Derbyshire.
As well as retailing fine jewellery and luxury watches, the centre will also manufacture jewellery, and have indoor and outdoor spaces for dining and events.
C W Sellors has so far only announced that it will be stocking Tudor in its Shrewsbury store, but its most recent showroom expansion has been in Bakewell, which has doubled in size and now has space for TAG Heuer and Breitling, and IWC.
Tudor will also be sold online by Jurawatches.
