Bulova is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation with a trio of watches that adopt elements of his architectural designs.
The foundation is dedicated to preserving two homes in the United States that were designed and owned by Mr Wright,  Taliesin and Taliesin West, and inspiring society through an understanding and experience of Mr Lloyd Wright’s ideas, architecture and design.
Bulova’s tribute, the December Gifts Limited Edition timepiece, is a tank shaped watch with a square, circle and triangle dial design.
An angular case adds to the geometry of the design with brushed and polished gold-tones and picks up some of the lines of Mr Wright’s famous homes.
It has a glass case back etched with the ‘Organic Commandment’, an expression of the importance Mr Wright ascribed to geometry in architecture and design.
It goes on sale today for $475 in a commemorative wooden debossed box and is numbered and limited to 500 pieces.
Two non-limited December Gifts include an automatic using a Miyota 8S20-43A that is priced at $425 and a rectangular ladies’ piece inspired by Mr Wright’s #106 fabric pattern.
It sells on a stainless steel bracelet for $275.
