Jimmy Chin is one of America’s most respected adventurers with his extreme mountaineering leading to opportunities as a National Geographic photographer, Academy Award-winning film director and New York Times Best Selling author.
Bremont has signed Mr Chin as its latest brand ambassador, which will raise the watchmaker’s profile in the United States and benefit from the connection to such a famous outdoorsman for its rugged tool watches.
America has been singled-out as a key growth opportunity by Bremont’s new CEO Davide Cerrato and the business is part-owned by New York-based billionaire investor Bill Ackman.

Mr Chin will work with Bremont on special edition watches, exclusive content, and immersive experiences. “Watches are not just instruments for keeping time; they are symbols of exploration and the moments that define our lives. I look forward testing Bremont out in the field as an essential part of my kit,” he says.
His first public outing will be at April’s Watches and Wonders in Geneva, at which Bremont is participating for the first time.
