Bremont makes watches for upcoming Argylle spy thriller

Bremont is healing for the big screen with a cameo in Matthew Vaughn’s latest crime caper Argylle, which opens in UK cinemas on February 2.

The British watchmaker says its partnership is a “harmonious fusion of cinema and precision timekeeping, creating a must-have accessory for enthusiasts and collectors alike”.

It is the second time Bremont has used a movie directed my Matthew Vaughn as a promotional vehicle having collaborated in 2014 on the first Kingsman film, including producing a number of exclusive timepieces for the film that also went on sale.

“Crafting this limited-edition collection with Matthew Vaughn for Argylle has been an exciting journey,” says Bremont co-founder Nick English. “The watches are a true reflection of the collaboration’s spirit, combining precision engineering with the captivating narrative of the film. Each piece is a testament to the shared commitment to excellence between Bremont and Vaughn,” he adds.

Bremont created watches for several characters including ‘Agent Argylle’, played by Henry Cavill; ‘Elly Conway’, played by Bryce Dallas Howard; ‘Aidan’, played by Sam Rockwell; ‘Alfred Solomon’, played by Samuel L Jackson; ‘Ritter’, played by Bryan Cranston; ‘Wyatt’, played by John Cena; and ‘Keira’, played by Ariana DeBose.

Commercial Bremont x Argylle limited edition watches — Argylle, Argylle Jet and Argylle Yellow — come in three styles, each with dials decorated with the Argylle diamond pattern.

The Argylle is a 43mm polished steel dress GMT watch based on a Bremont Solo 43 with gold plated indexes hands standing out against the black Argylle patterned dial.

It is limited to 200 pieces and on sale from today for £4,950.

Argylle Jet is a three-hander with date watch based on a Bremont U-2 chronometer with the indestructibility of Bremont’s Martin-Baker.

Its 43mm steel case comes in a stealthy black DLC coating. The dial has a clack and grey Argylle pattern, hour markers in Arabic numerals and symbols, and yellow accents on the seconds track, Bremont logo and tip of the seconds hand.

Only 75 are being made, priced at £4,550.

For the femme fatal, Bremont has the Argylle Yellow in the style of a Solo 34 with a polished steel 34mm case and bezel and bold yellow for the strap, seconds hand and Argylle branding on a white checker-textured dial.

The watch is produced in a limited run of 75 pieces, which are on sale now for £3,350.

The Argylle collection will launch in February at Bremont boutiques, on Bremont.com and through selected retailers.
