Breitling designers must have been dreaming of endless summer days of blue skies above and azure seas below when they created the colour palette for its Superocean 42 diver’s watch.
The muscular timepiece has a polished steel case water resistant to 1,500 meters, but the dial, unidirectional bezel and embossed rubber strap are all bold shades of blue.
A Breitling spokesperson said: “While the new Superocean 42 looks set to be a summertime star on the beach, on the town and in the ocean depths, it nonetheless boasts all the characteristics of a true Breitling instrument for professionals, including peerless functionality and readability. It is equipped with a self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC, the highest benchmark in terms of precision and reliability.”
Breitling is selling just 2,000 of the limited-edition watch.
