Bonnie Tyler took centre stage on Tuesday night in Geneva as Philipp Plein launched its Crypto King and Crypto Queen collections.
Held at the Fairmont Grand Hotel, a professional parachutist in a black-tie suit, sponsored by Red Bull, jumped from a helicopter and delivered the time machines at the event location to mark the beginning of the soiree.
Guests were then treated to an upbeat cocktail celebration including a special performance from the iconic Bonnie Tyler who sang three of her greatest hits.
The Crypto King and Crypto Queen project aims to combine a luxury watch with an NFT and debuting during Geneva Watch Week, the collection comprises eight Crypto King and six Crypto Queen time machines and serves as the first phygitial project for the brand.
Made entirely in Switzerland, the brand will introduce the luxury timepieces in all its stores & flagship stores and at selected distributors worldwide with a dedicated shopping experience.
The purchase of a physical luxury watch is linked to the acquisition of digital NFT art and the Philipp Plein luxury watch owner, becomes automatically also an NFT art collector.
With the purchase of each watch, every customer also receives an exclusive, collectible, limited edition NFT (NON-FUNGIBLE TOKEN) created by the world leading NFT artist Antoni Tudisco.
