BA111OD has an addendum to its Chapter 3 story in the form of two fresh models for the collection with anthracite and azure blue dials.
The two Spring releases, Chapter 3.5 ZEST and Chapter 3.6 AZUR, both come with leather strap and a deployant buckle fitted with two NFC-connected chips.
One is for storing contact information, the other provides direct access to an owner’s personal BA111OD store.
All BA111OD owners are invited to become Afluendors — a contraction of Ambassadors, inFLUENcers and venDORS — who are incentivised to promote the watchmaker’s products to other potential customers and line up sales through their own virtual stores.
BA111OD is also looking to appoint a single exclusive retail partner with national coverage in the UK and other countries.
This retail partnership would be different to the traditional model. Not only is the brand looking for a single exclusive retail partner in each country, that retailer is not required to carry any stock or even make any sales.
Instead, the retailer would provide a quality experience to customers once a watch has been bought online from the BA111OD ecommerce site or from one of its Affluendors.
In return for providing that service, the retailer would be paid a fee of up to 30% of the watch’s sale price when it is collected in store.
The two new Chapter 3 releases can be on the www.ba111od.com website or through Afluendors’ stores at a price of CHF 625 for the Chapter 3.5 ZEST and CHF 595 for the Chapter 3.6 AZUR.
The ZEST comes in a 42mm gunmetal PVD-treated steel case with an anthracite dial featuring electric orange accents.
The AZUR is a more classic combination of steel case, blue dial and brown leather strap.
Both house a Swiss-made Soprod P024 Skeleton movement driving hours, minutes, and seconds.
The movement’s pulsing balance wheel and gears have been turned into a feature on the semi-skeletonised sunray dials.
