There is no getting away from bold colours this year, and Citizen is embracing the trend with a fresh set of Promaster Dive watches that combine steel or gold-tone cases with dials, bezels and straps in oranges, blues and turquoise.
Three new references are hitting the market this month priced from £279 to £289.
Citizen’s history in dive watches can be traced back to the late 1950s, but the style of the latest Promaster divers is an evolution of a design that was introduced in 1989 when the collection was first launched.
They come in 44mm cases with aluminium uni-directional dive bezels showing a 60 minute count down.
Dials are highly legible with large, luminous hour and minute hands and punchy hour markers that also light up in the deep.
The watches house Citizen Eco-Drive quartz movements and are water resistant to 200 metres.
They are sold on rippled rubber straps and being promoted as gender-neutral options for sporty men and women.
