Fossil Group-owned Zodiac is rapidly elevating itself to the status of a flagship brand within the US-based operation, and takes that mission a step further this month with the launch of a Swiss-made skeletonised automatic movement, the STP 6-15.
The movement is making its debut in a limited edition rainbow-coloured Super Sea Wolf with a skeletonised dial and exhibition case back showing off the mechanics.
Fossil Group has been throwing its weight behind a push by Zodiac to compete with affordable luxury Swiss marques in recent years, and has been enjoying considerable success in Europe and the United States.
The rainbow-coloured crystal bezel of the latest Super Sea Wolf Compression Skeleton is certain to catch the eye of retail partners and customers.
“Colour has always been a pillar of the Zodiac design,” says Zodiac creative director, Ryan White. “The Super Chroma bezel was our most daring use of colour to date and a nod to our rebellious roots.”
The watch comes in a 40mm steel case, water resistant to 200 metres, and is worn on a 5-link stainless steel Jubilee-style bracelet.
It is on sale now for £1,800/$1,895.
