Watches of Switzerland Group promotes top execs and strengthens its board

Chabi Nouri appointed as a non-executive director with effect from May 1 2022.

Piaget’s former president and CEO, Chabi Nouri, has joined the board of The Watches of Switzerland Group as a non-executive director with effect from May 1 2022.

It is Ms Nouri’s second appointment in recent months, having joined the private equity division of Mirabaud Asset Management as private equity partner advising on the luxury sector.

Ms Nouri has over 20 years’ experience in leading luxury goods companies, most recently as chief executive of Richemont-owned jeweller and watchmaker Piaget for four years.

Previously she held various senior roles in the luxury sector spanning management, retail operations and marketing, including global head of jewellery, and head of retail operations at Cartier.

Ms Nouri’s appointment was announced at the same time as two major promotions for two of Watches of Switzerland Group’s most senior executives in the UK and United States.

Craig Bolton, executive director, UK, has been appointed president, Watches of Switzerland Group, UK and Europe.

David Hurley, executive vice president, US, has been appointed president, Watches of Switzerland Group, North America.

In addition, Mr Hurley has been appointed as deputy CEO of the Group, reflecting the importance of the US market to the growth plans of the Group.
