Watches and Wonders 2024 in numbers and pictures

WatchPro presents scenes from around Watches and Wonders and unveils the final visitor numbers.

Watches and Wonders Geneva ended its six-day run yesterday with a record 49,000 visitors passing through the hallowed Palexpo exhibition halls, a rise of 14% over 2023.

Fifty-four brands welcomed 5,700 retailers, 1,500 journalists and 19,000 members of the public who paid for tickets to attend the final three days of the show.

A quarter of the paying punters were aged under 25, a sign that a younger generation is as keen as ever to get into the watchmaking business, or buy its products.

The hashtag #watchesandwonders2024 is said by W&W’s organiser to have reached over 600 million people, a proportion of which would have been lured in by following personal appearances on social media by brand ambassadors including supermodel Gisele Bündchen for IWC, the tennis champion Coco Gauff for TAG Heuer, and soccer superstar Kylian Mbappé for Hublot.
