WatchBox offers 100 F.P. Journe and De Bethune pieces for sale at a European tour kicking off this month in Zurich

The roadshow, titled Two Decades of Complexity & Beauty – the Pivotal Collections by F.P. Journe and De Bethune, kicks of in Switzerland with an event at WatchBox’s Zurich Collector’s Lounge from October 27 to 29.

Collectible pre-owned specialist WatchBox has one of the largest portfolios of F.P. Journe watches in the world, and loves the work of Denis Flageollet’s De Bethune so much it bought the company.

As part of WatchBox’s expansion into Europe, it is holding a travelling exhibition that will honor François-Paul Journe and Mr Flageollet’s contributions to the watch industry through presentations with experts and a display of exceptional timepieces from F.P. Journe and De Bethune that will be available to buy.

The roadshow, titled Two Decades of Complexity & Beauty – the Pivotal Collections by F.P. Journe and De Bethune, kicks of in Switzerland with an event at WatchBox’s Zurich Collector’s Lounge from October 27 to 29.

It then moves to Geneva to present during the inaugural edition of the ReLuxury show from November 4 to 7 at the Hotel President Wilson.

WatchBox is promising the tour will reach Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Dubai, and select cities in the United States in 2023.

De Bethune and F.P. Journe watches have become highly desirable and increasingly difficult to purchase in recent years.

But WatchBox will have more than 100 highly watches from the brands on offer during its events including De Bethune’s DB1 Monopusher Chronograph, the DB28 Maxichrono with five hands mounted coaxially, and first-generation brass movement pieces by F.P. Journe such as the Chronomètre á Résonance, Reference R.

“François-Paul Journe and Denis Flageollet are two of the most fascinating and talented watchmakers of this era,” says WatchBox executive chairman Danny Govberg.

“Our retrospective is a celebration of their technical and artistic innovations, the brand-defining collections from the last two decades, and the community drawn to this independent sphere.”
