Devon Live today reports local anger at its council cutting down palm trees in Torquay, indisputably Britain’s equivalent of Miami.
That could affect sales for a limited edition Hublot, which uses a depiction of a Florida palm amid a Miami sunset to decorate its latest Big Bang Unico.
It is called the Magic City edition, a term I have never heard associated with Miami.

Only 35 of the Magic City version are being made, and they are only on sale in the United States through the brand’s ecommerce site and internal boutiques in the extraordinary Miami Design District and Bel Harbor, a swanky enclave of linked islands to the north of the city.
