By Jessica Knowles

Following on from the success of its Gatwick Airport store, Swatch Group has announced plans to open a second Hour Passion multi-brand store on London’s Oxford Street.

The store will open at the end of June, featuring watches from Longines, Rado, Union Glashutte, Tissot, Calvin Klein watches and jewellery, Balmain, Mido, Hamilton, Certina, Swatch and Flik-Flak.

The concept store will be divided across two levels of the 270sqm building and offers an informative experience with a broad range of timepieces from across their collections.

Each collection will be housed in its own individual retail space, utilising the brand colours, materials and logos to make identification simple and efficient for customers and preserve uniqueness. A lounge area will also be available as part of the shopping experience.

The boutique’s facade will boast large windows with brand-orientated visuals and multi-media platforms used to promote brands, with a screen behind the sales area bringing the latest products to life.

The Hour Passion store design promises to be sleek and modern. Design features include cut stone, wooden floors, and stone tiles set against a backdrop of glass and polished surfaces.

President of Swatch Group management board Nick Hayek, said: "the UK market and the British consumer are very important for us. We feel that they should be served in the most excellent way. That is why we decided to install a splendid new Hour Passion boutique in London carrying some of our finest brands.”

The store will be on the corner of Oxford Street and Balderton Street and opens at the end of June.
