Speake-Marin’s striking Openworked Tourbillon collection is being expanded with two new models, one in matt black DLC-treated titanium and the other in pink gold.
The collection can be seen at this year’s WATCHPRO Salon, which takes place from November 11-12 at The Londoner hotel on Leicester Square.
Introduced in its current form in 2019, the latest Openworked Tourbillon has become a signature style for Speake-Marin thanks to the unique configuration of the dial with its tourbillon between 1 and 2 o’clock.
Every example is powered by the 290 component SMA05 automatic in-house calibre with its 72-hour power reserve displayed at 7.30 on the dial along with its micro rotor and barrel.
“Directly inspired by modern architecture, these timepieces are distinguished by their functionalism and originality. They explore the realms of ultra-miniaturisation, combined with an extremely pared-down design. By merging absolute technicality, boldness and modernity, they are the perfect embodiment of the English style embedded in the the DNA of the House,” Speake-Marin says.
Only ten each will be made of the 42mm DLC-treated titanium or rose gold models.
